If you compete and you have a great competition jacket that you absolutely want to show off, we advise you to go for the body protector that can be worn underneath (provided that this one is airbag compatible).<\/p>\n

Your riding style will influence the choice of your airbag. It will depend on the disciplines you do (dressage, jumping, cross country…) and the frequency of these disciplines (if you ride once a week, twice or more). If you ride very frequently or even several times a day and possibly young horses, it will be more practical to use an airbag vest that is worn over your clothes as it will be easier to put on and take off.<\/p>\n

We all know that buying an airbag vest is an investment! Yes, that’s true, but it does protect you and it is a long-term investment. The life of an airbag is relatively long if you take good care of it. And for younger people who grow up, you can also use the second-hand market in order to renew your airbag.<\/p>\n

Compatible clothing is an important topic when choosing an airbag vest. All airbag vests that can be worn underneath clothes require that the clothing is airbag compatible.<\/p>\n
Depending on the model, you’ll need compatible clothing from the same brand (at least you’ll have the whole kit\ud83d\ude09 ) or from a defined brand list. For other models, you will need clothes with a certain composition (example: a minimum of 15% elastane in your competition jackets).
