COMPOSITION

This airbag vest has a low cut at the arms to ensure total freedom of movement. It has been designed in water-repellent, softshell, stretch and breathable material. It has 2 external pockets. The seams are resistant to the propulsion of the airbag.

> Unlike the adult model, the airbag membrane is thicker in the children's vests. This does not allow for an additional liner, as in adult airbags. On the other hand, the SEGURA Kids airbag vest meets all the safety standards.

COMPLIANCE

The SEGURA Kids airbag vest complies with the regulations governing personal protective equipment (PPE) subject to the French Sports Code. As such, this airbag vest has a CE marking issued by the laboratory ALIENOR CERTIFICATION, in accordance with the European regulation 89/686/CEE. Airbag certified NF S72-800-2021.

COMPATIBLE CLOTHING

With its slim fit, this vest will fit your riding clothes. It can only be worn over clothing: a summer t-shirt, a sweatshirt, a winter down jacket... It is adjustable according to the seasons and your layers. We do not recommend wearing several layers of clothing under your airbag vest.

ACCESSORIES

The vest is delivered with a CO2 gas cartridge, an arming key, its connection strap and its saddle strap. The gas cartridges must be used with care and stored at a temperature below 40°. It is imperative to buy only approved Segura gas cartridges and to change them after each firing!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The CO2 cartridge must be screwed firmly and completely into the case. Once in place, do not attempt to unscrew or remove it.

The two ends of the saddle cord must be attached to the knives of your saddle, before your stirrup leathers. Next, the connecting strap should be attached to the saddle cord, via its designated carabiner.

It is the connecting strap, directly connected to the gas cartridge, that will allow the cartridge to be triggered in case of a fall. Our airbag system works like a kinetic energy absorber. During a fall, the airbag fills with air, thus absorbing a large part of this energy and reducing the risk of injury.

STORAGE AND CARE

Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Brush the vest with a slightly dampened stiff bristle brush, then air dry on a hanger.
