SAFEFIT airbag vest

COMPOSITION

Made from stretchy Nylon 10 Spandex fabric, it is light and comfortable and is easy to forget once in the saddle. Its mesh cut-outs allow for better ventilation while giving it a technical look that is appreciated by sportsmen. The fabric is weather resistant.

COMPLIANCE

The SAFEFIT airbag vest complies with the regulations relating to personal protective equipment (PPE) subject to the Sports Code. As such, SAFEFIT has a CE mark issued by the ALIENOR CERTIFICATION laboratory, in accordance with European regulation 89/686/EEC. Airbag certified NF S72-800-2021.

COMPATIBLE CLOTHING

With its tight fit, SAFEFIT will adapt to your riding clothes. SAFEFIT can be worn over a summer t-shirt or a winter down jacket. It can also be worn under an airbag compatible competition jacket of any brand. The latter must contain a minimum of 15% elastane in its composition. Any garment worn over this airbag vest must be compatible. We do not recommend wearing multiple layers of clothing under your airbag vest.

The little ++ : The SAFEFIT vest can be combined with the SAFERIDE option offered on the Seaver application. Activated on your phone, your relatives are alerted in case of a fall and can geolocate you to rescue you. A one-year SAFERIDE subscription is offered with any SAFEFIT order. You will receive, with the airbag vest, an activation code to be entered directly on the Seaver mobile application.

ACCESSORIES

The vest comes with a CO2 gas cartridge, an arming key, its connection strap and its saddle strap. The gas cartridges must be used with care and stored at a temperature below 40°. It is imperative to purchase only approved Seaver brand cartridges and to change them after each firing!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The CO2 cartridge must be screwed firmly and completely into the case. Once in place, do not attempt to unscrew or remove it.

The two ends of the saddle cord must be attached to the knives of your saddle, before your stirrup leathers. Next, the connecting strap should be attached to the saddle cord, via its designated carabiner.

It is the connecting strap, directly connected to the gas cartridge, that will allow the release of the cartridge in case of a fall. The pulling force required for the airbag to work properly is a minimum of 30-35kg for all sizes.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Brush the vest with a slightly dampened stiff bristle brush, then air dry on a hanger.
