TWIST'AIR airbag vest - Horse Pilot

COMPOSITION

In partnership with the company In&Motion, Horse Pilot offers an ergonomic vest made of a very light bi-stretch material. Mesh panels positioned on the sides and in the back allow a good breathability. Compared to the previous version of the Horse Pilot vest, the TWIST'AIR presents a better ergonomics at the level of the navel and the clearance of the arms for a better mobility of the rider and thus more discretion. The operation of the cartridge has been improved for more simplicity in the rebooting of the cartridge. The cable that connects the rider to the saddle is magnetized, it can be connected and disconnected with one hand to allow the rider not to have to let go of the reins.

COMPLIANCE

The TWIST'AIR airbag vest is one of the first equestrian airbags to meet the criteria of the NF S72-800:2022 standard. It complies with the regulations relating to personal protective equipment (PPE) subject to the French Sports Code. As such, this vest has a CE marking issued by the ALIENOR CERTIFICATION laboratory, in accordance with the European regulation 89/686/CEE.

COMPATIBLE CLOTHING

The TWIST'AIR airbag vest must be worn and adjusted correctly to your body, so that the protection zones are perfectly in place. It can be worn over a summer t-shirt or a winter down jacket, but we do not recommend wearing several layers of clothing under your vest. It can also be worn under an airbag compatible racing jacket of any brand. The latter must contain a minimum of 15% elastane in its composition. Any garment worn over this airbag vest must be compatible.

ACCESSORIES

The vest comes with a CO2 gas cartridge and an all-in-one belt. Gas cartridges should be used with care and stored at temperatures below 40°C. It is imperative to buy only Horse Pilot approved cartridges and to change them after each activation!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Once the CO2 cartridge is in place, do not attempt to remove it.

The all-in-one belt combines both the saddle cord and the connection strap, it is a 2-in-1! Its two ends should be attached to your saddle knives, before your stirrup leathers. It is directly connected to the gas cartridge, and it is this cartridge that will trigger the airbag in case of a fall.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Brush the vest with a slightly dampened stiff bristle brush, then air dry on a hanger.
