PRO AIR airbag vest - Point Two

COMPLIANCE

This airbag has been tested at the SATRA Technology Centre (UK). It complies with the SATRA technical specification "SATRA M38: July 2012 - Requirements for inflatable vests for use in horse racing and intended to provide protection in the event of a fall to the ground". The airbag fully inflates in 300 milliseconds after the cartridge is triggered. The impact performance requirements are identical to those specified for EN 13158:2009 Level 3 body protection.        

COMPATIBLE CLOTHING

The AIR PRO vest can be worn with your riding clothes: over a summer t-shirt, a winter down jacket... It can also be worn under clothes compatible with airbags, whatever the brand. These must be approved and CE certified, in accordance with the requirements of the EN 13158:2009 standard. We do not recommend wearing multiple layers of clothing under your airbag vest.

ACCESSORIES

The vest comes with two CO2 gas cartridges, a cocking key, its connection strap and its saddle strap. The gas cartridges must be used with care and stored at a temperature below 40°. It is imperative to buy only approved cartridges of the Point Two brand, and to change them after each triggering!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The CO2 cartridge must be screwed firmly and completely into the case. Once in place, do not attempt to unscrew or remove it.

The two ends of the saddle cord must be attached to the knives of your saddle, before your stirrup leathers. Next, the connecting strap should be attached to the saddle cord, via its designated carabiner.

It is the connecting strap, directly connected to the gas cartridge, which will allow the release of the cartridge in case of a fall. The pulling force required for the airbag to work properly is at least 25 kg for all sizes.           

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Brush the vest with a slightly dampened stiff bristle brush, then air dry on a hanger.
