You often ask us the question: « What is the difference between the Light model and the Complete II model ? » We’ll try to enlighten you to help you make the right choice ! 🙋🏻‍♀️ The Complet II model is the latest airbag version that has been released to optimise the first version : Complet I. The Light model has a few different details which adds great assets to this model.

Firstly, as the name suggests, the Light model is one of the lightest models on the market. It weighs about 1100g, which makes it particularly comfortable. It has one of the best ratios : weight to protection. The Light model has wide openings under the arms which gives the rider complete freedom of movement. 💨

 

Secondly, for the Complete II, the cartridge is housed in a rigid case to protect it in case of a shock. The Light airbag model has a cartridge protection made of soft fabric.

The biggest difference between the two models is the back protection ! The back protection of the Complet II is removable. It is strongly advised to wear a back protection especially in cross country as it provides a higher level of protection.

This model is slightly heavier than the Light model, it weighs about 1600g.

 

✅ The best part of the Hit-Air airbags is their deployment speed of the neck collar and the lower back pad. This airbag protects your neck, your lumbars and your coccyx (your butt 😁)

The Complet II model has an extra cushioning on the tailbone area compare to the Light model. We’ll put some pictures to show you the difference between the two ! 😅

 

All HIT AIR airbags are sold fully equipped : a saddle cord, a connecting strap and a cartridge !
