The back protection protects the rider's back. It generally consists of a layer of foam, which softens on contact with the rider's body heat, to free up movement and provide the rider with the greatest possible comfort. Relatively thin, the back protection is worn close to the body and is easily placed under the rider's clothing. They can be used in all equestrian disciplines, with the exception of marathon driving, eventing and trekking.
