If you'd like to personalize your new stirrups, you can contact us to configure your ideal pair. You can also purchase accessories such as stickers if you have Flex On or interchangeable colored temples for Horsena stirrups, for example. 

To improve the grip and fixity of your foot, and by extension that of your leg as well, we advise you to choose a grip floor. This grippy surface helps the rider keep his foot firmly in place, improving balance and comfort. 

If your heels tend to come up, we advise you to choose an inclined floor. A sloping floor encourages the rider's heels to come down, which promotes better posture, improves stability, and reduces leg fatigue by distributing the rider's weight more effectively over the stirrup.

Only some stirrups have interchangeable floors. To find out if your stirrups are concerned, please refer to the product description. 

To change the floors of your stirrups, start by removing the old ones by gently pulling them out, or using a flathead screwdriver to lift them out if necessary. Then clean the inside of the stirrups to remove any dirt. Position the new floorboards, aligning them correctly, then push firmly to secure them in place. Make sure they fit snugly and don't move.

Traditional stirrup leathers consist of two parts: the first strap passes through the stirrup, and the second allows length adjustment, secured by a keeper. In contrast, single-strap stirrup leathers have only one part, reducing bulk under the leg, enhancing contact with the horse, and providing a lighter feel.

The easiest way is to measure your current pair of stirrup leathers. Note that the standard length for an adult is generally between 125 and 135 cm, compared with 110 to 120 cm for children or shorter riders. Also take into account your discipline: in dressage, stirrup leathers are often longer to allow a stretched leg position, while in jumping they are shorter for a more raised position and better balance.
