AIRSAFE airbag vest

COMPOSITION

The AIRSAFE airbag vest is stretchy and breathable. Its outer fabric is mixed with elastane, offering maximum comfort and allowing an optimal opening of the airbag. Mesh inserts on the sides and back provide additional breathability to the vest. The outer fabric is weather resistant.

COMPLIANCE

The AIRSAFE Equithème airbag vest complies with the regulations relating to personal protective equipment (PPE) subject to the French Sports Code. As such, this airbag vest has a CE marking issued by the laboratory ALIENOR CERTIFICATION, in accordance with the European regulation 89/686/CEE. Airbag certified NF S72-800-2021. It can be worn in official competitions.

COMPATIBLE CLOTHING

The AIRSAFE airbag vest is designed to be worn close to the body. It can be adapted to any type of clothing: a summer t-shirt, a sweatshirt, a winter down jacket... However, we do not recommend wearing several layers of clothing under your airbag vest. It can also be used with a compatible outer garment. Compatible outerwear must be approved and certified with the mention Freejump Airbag Technology.

ACCESSORIES

The vest is delivered with a CO2 gas cartridge, an arming key, its connection strap and its saddle strap. The gas cartridges must be used with care and stored at a temperature below 40°. It is imperative to buy only approved cartridges of the Freejump brand, and to change them after each triggering!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The CO2 cartridge must be screwed firmly and completely into the case. Once in place, do not attempt to unscrew or remove it.

The two ends of the saddle cord must be attached to the knives of your saddle, before your stirrup leathers. Next, the connecting strap should be attached to the saddle cord, via its designated carabiner.

It is the connecting strap, directly connected to the gas cartridge with a ball, which will allow the release of the cartridge in case of a fall. The traction force necessary for the proper functioning of the airbag vest is 25kg for all sizes, or an internal pressure of the airbag of 350 mBar.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Brush the vest with a slightly dampened stiff bristle brush, then air dry on a hanger.
