Made from aircraft-grade aluminum, they offer an impressive strength-to-weight ratio, making them lighter than most calipers on the market, at just 419 g each, without compromising stability.

The ergonomic floor of the compensated stirrups is inclined at 5 degrees, with a non-slip stirrup sole mounted on a shock-absorbing layer of dynamic polymer with a compression ratio of 70%. Impact and vibration are absorbed at the landing point during jumps, reducing knee and ankle fatigue and lessening stress on leg muscles and tendons. Hardened steel spikes integrated into the stirrup sole ensure maximum boot safety.

The floor is supported by a double balance arch system that distributes weight evenly over the base of the stirrup frame. The eye of the stirrup is recessed and offset, favoring an outward orientation of 45°, enabling the rider to find the optimum angle for his foot and retrieve the stirrup when he loses it.

The integrated articulated arm features a two-stage release system, preventing unintentional opening. The spring-loaded arm locks into place at the base of the main frame, meaning that under maximum pressure, such as when landing after a jump, the rider's weight is distributed evenly over the stirrup, preventing the outside from lowering and flexing. When pressure is applied to the stirrup arm, it opens, releasing the foot safely from the stirrup. The breaking force of the stirrup arm has been tested at 36 N (equivalent to 3.62 kg). This demonstrates sufficient strength to prevent unintentional opening, but rapid unlocking should the need arise.

It's important to note that for a caliper of this design (with a quick-release arm), opening is not 100% guaranteed in the event of a fall. There are several factors, such as the horse falling, a loose girth causing the saddle to slip, and a slow or unusual exit angle that doesn't generate enough lateral force to open the arm. This is very rare, but users should be aware that no stirrup is immune to all eventualities.
