Ensure your young riders have flawless protection on every horseback adventure with the Carapax Child Body Protector from BR. Specially designed for the well-being and safety of children practicing horse riding, this children's body protector is the top choice for parents who want to offer the very best to their little ones. With its blend of robustness, flexibility, and ultimate comfort, the Carapax Child combines the best advances in protective vests while ensuring the freedom of movement essential for learning and progress, both in the arena and outdoors.

Maximum protection for young riders

As a sport, horse riding exposes youngsters to falling risks which, without proper equipment, can lead to injuries. The Carapax Child was designed to meet this increased safety requirement with its Level 3 protection — the highest level of the European standard EN 13158:2009. This body protector envelopes and protects the entire torso: spine, ribcage, and abdomen are efficiently covered to lessen the impact of falls.

• High-resistance structure: Designed with a succession of small, high-density foam cubes, the Carapax forms a true protective shield, absorbing and distributing impact energy exactly where children need it most.
• Complete trunk protection: The body protector covers the whole thoracic area, lower back, and front of the abdomen, reassuring both parents and children in all equestrian situations.
• European Level 3 certification: As a guarantee of excellence, Carapax Child meets the strictest criteria of the CE-EN 13158:2009 standard, providing the highest grade of safety on the market.

Technology, compliance, and certified reliability

With the Carapax Child Body Protector, your child's safety is in good hands. This vest holds a certification recognized throughout Europe, providing peace of mind with its compliance to current equestrian safety standards.

The modular structure of articulated cubes perfectly hugs every movement your child makes, while ensuring optimal fit during all horseback activities. Each component was chosen to deliver effective shock absorption, even in severe falls, minimizing the risk of injury to the back, ribs, and abdomen.

Thanks to BR’s stringent manufacturing process and quality controls, each Carapax body protector is a reliable piece of protective equipment, ready to accompany your child over time—at the riding club, during lessons or young riders’ competitions.

Unmatched comfort for full freedom while riding

A protective vest must also be comfortable to wear to remain effective in real conditions. BR has carefully engineered the Carapax to provide superior comfort to every young rider:

• Robust, breathable outer fabric: The nylon used gives the protector abrasion resistance while remaining lightweight and ventilated. Your child won’t feel any discomfort, even during long riding sessions.
• Flexibility suited to children’s morphology: The flexibility of the protective cubes enables the vest to follow every natural movement, promoting balance in the saddle and boosting children's confidence from their very first steps.
• Large arm holes: Wide openings ensure complete ease for using aids and holding the reins, making learning technical gestures fully autonomous.
• Custom-fit adjustment: Sturdy Velcro straps at the shoulders and waist allow for a perfect fit no matter your child’s shape, keeping the vest stable, snug, and precisely adjusted season after season.
• Front zip closure: Simple and fast to use—even for a child—this system allows the vest to be put on and taken off in seconds, saving time before or after riding sessions.
