Its mechanical activation system allows deployment in just 240 milliseconds, helping to quickly protect sensitive areas of the upper body. This responsiveness helps reduce the consequences of an impact by providing additional support to areas particularly exposed during a fall from a horse.

The vest incorporates a cervical protection cushion that deploys when the airbag inflates. It helps stabilise the head and limit sudden backward or sideways movements. This protection is particularly valuable for young riders, whose safety requires special attention as they learn and progress in the saddle.

Simple operation and safety adapted to children

The Crown Spark junior airbag vest operates using a mechanical activation system connected to the saddle. The saddle attachment strap is supplied with the vest. Once mounted, the young rider connects the attachment lanyard to the airbag, allowing it to activate if the rider becomes separated from the saddle.

An internal pocket provides convenient storage for the lanyard when not in use. After deployment, the vest can be reset by replacing the CO₂ cartridge. The absence of additional plastic components on the cartridge makes replacement easier.

The junior XS version requires a 33 g CO₂ cartridge, sold separately. To ensure suitable protection, this model must not be used by children weighing less than 30 kg.
