P06 back protection - Swing

Ride with the confidence that only dedicated spinal protection can provide. The SWING P06 Adult Back Protector doesn’t just fulfill its mission: it redefines comfort and safety for all riders who care about their physical integrity. Designed with the latest innovations in protective materials, this back protector combines a high level of safety with remarkable lightness and ergonomics. All this while meeting the most demanding standards for equestrian back protection.

Total spinal protection: designed to go all the way

While many back protectors focus on the center of the back, the P06 Adult goes further. Its enveloping structure covers the entire spine, from the upper cervical vertebrae to the coccyx, providing an effective barrier against impacts in the event of a fall or blow while riding.

• Extreme shock absorption: Its multi-layer, memory foam padding disperses impact energy, reducing the risk of serious injuries to the most exposed areas.
• Continuous longitudinal protection: Its extra-long design protects the entire length of the back, including the sacrum and coccyx, for increased safety during the most unpredictable incidents.
• Preserved freedom of movement: The back protector perfectly conforms to the rider’s shape and adapts to torso movements, providing active safety without constraint or uncomfortable rigidity.

High-performance technology and european compliance

SWING designed the P06 Adult Back Protector using high-tech materials chosen for their superior shock absorption and exceptional breathability. It features a sophisticated shock-absorbing core encased in airy mesh, allowing optimal heat dissipation and extended wear in any season. This concentration of technology comes with a practical and reliable front zipper closure, keeping the back protector in place no matter the situation.

The P06 is certified according to the EN 1621-2:2014 level 2 standard, the strictest in terms of back protection. It delivers optimal shock absorption tested on all critical areas of the spine, giving you the guarantee of European-recognized safety.

Ergonomics and fit: a second skin for every rider

A back protector is only effective if it’s worn from start to finish of your ride. SWING designed the P06 Adult to be completely unobtrusive, even during the most intense efforts:

• Anatomical cut: Its ergonomic shape and slim profile allow a perfect fit, under a jacket or over a lightweight outfit.
• Intuitive fastening system: The front zipper closure enables easy on and off, even with gloves. It stays perfectly stable regardless of your outfit or discipline.
• Superior breathability: The airy mesh limits perspiration, ensuring constant comfort even on the hottest days or under multiple layers of clothing.

Versatility and discretion: the ideal protection for every rider

The P06 Adult Back Protector is designed for all riders, whether you focus on daily training, groundwork, long trail rides, or jumping. Thanks to its slimness, it discreetly slips under a competition jacket, a lightweight vest, or can be worn alone over a simple t-shirt on sunny days. Its unisex design makes it accessible to everyone, whatever your discipline or skill level. It comes in a wide range of sizes to fit every body type.

Light and flexible, it follows your movements without ever restricting you at sitting trot, two-point canter, or when jumping obstacles. You stay focused on your sensations and your horse, free from constraints, and with the assurance that you’re effectively protected.

Use, storage, and care tips for lasting performance

The P06 Adult Back Protector was designed to simplify life for riders. Versatile, it can be worn directly against the body or over lightweight clothing, fitting seamlessly into your equestrian routine. Its care is also made easy thanks to its use of durable and quick-drying materials.

• To maintain its protective properties, simply brush it with a slightly damp, stiff-bristled brush and leave it to air dry, away from any direct heat source.
• Store it flat or hanging in a dry place out of direct sunlight to ensure its longevity and the quality of its protection.
