Arena AluPro Junior safety stirrups - Acavallo

Give your young rider peace of mind and the pleasure of progressing in complete safety. The Arena AluPro Kids' safety stirrups by Acavallo are the result of engineering dedicated to the specific protection of children on horseback. Concentrated with innovation and safety, they meet the needs of young riders by combining patented engineering, child-friendly ergonomics, and contemporary design. Manufactured in Italy after several years of research and development, they are the ultimate choice to introduce and safely guide children as they begin their equestrian journey.

Protection designed for young riders

Riding is a passion that starts young, and it deserves equipment that matches its safety challenges. Unlike traditional stirrups, the Arena AluPro Kids incorporate a patented lateral safety system that makes all the difference in the event of a fall. At the slightest abnormal pressure, the external arm of the stirrup opens laterally outward, instantly releasing the child's foot. This protective mechanism eliminates the dreaded risk of getting caught, greatly reducing the consequences of even unexpected falls.

• Patented lateral-opening system: Designed to activate only under abnormal force, the stirrup opens whenever necessary and closes securely during normal use.
• Optimal mechanism positioning: The opening/closing zone is placed 1 cm above the tread, protecting against accidental openings while preventing sand and dust from interfering with activation.
• Robust opening arm: Made with an aluminum alloy and a reinforced polyamide insert, the arm combines strength in use with flexibility during safety release.

Technology, quality, and innovation by acavallo

The manufacturing of the Arena AluPro Kids' stirrups relies on advanced injection molding technology, combining lightness, mechanical strength, and precision finish. Every step, from material selection to mechanism development, is carried out in Italy according to strict specifications:

• Ultra-light structure: The use of aluminum and advanced polymers makes each stirrup easy to handle even for the smallest riders, without compromise on durability.
• Long-lasting resistance: Materials are chosen to withstand humidity, temperature variations, and daily wear.
• Shock absorption capacity: The design protects the young rider's joints, limiting fatigue during sessions and contributing to overall comfort.

Comfort and ergonomics tailored for children

More than just an accessory, safety stirrups should accompany a child in discovering the joys of riding. That's why the Arena AluPro Kids offer ergonomic solutions designed for small feet:

• Extra-wide tread (10.5 cm): Optimized for children's morphology, this ensures perfect stability and prevents the foot from slipping unintentionally.
• Non-slip profile: Carefully arranged studs grip the sole of the boot or shoe, ensuring a secure hold in all weather conditions.
• Secure release: The width of the tread helps maintain the foot while providing a rapid 90 mm opening of the safety arm when needed.
• Optimized weight: Weighing just 703 g per pair, the stirrups avoid excess weight on a child or pony saddle and make it easier to learn proper foot positioning.

Versatility, style, and adaptability

Because every rider enjoys expressing their personality, the children's Arena AluPro range comes in a wide choice of modern and stylish colors, from understated to vibrant. They match all saddles and outfits, accompanying both first lessons at the riding school and young riders' first competitions.

• One-size-fits-all for kids: Designed to suit most children and pre-teens, allowing them to grow without the need for quick equipment replacement.
• Sold in pairs: Both stirrups are identical for easy installation and immediate use.
• Maximum load: Designed to support up to 80 kg, they are suitable for all children's ages and up to young teenagers starting their equestrian experience.
