Take your riding safety to a whole new level with the Safe-On Flex-On Black Safety Stirrups. Their innovative design brings together all the expertise of Flex-On in a stirrup engineered for comfort, stability, and, above all, active safety. Thanks to its unique lateral-opening removable branch system, the Safe-On efficiently protects you in case of a fall by immediately releasing your foot—essential for combining technical performance and peace of mind on every ride. To discover the full range of equestrian stirrups suited to your needs, let yourself be guided by your preferences and technical requirements.

The safe-on revolution: automatic anti-fall safety

Step into a new era with Safe-On technology, Flex-On’s signature for active safety. Its intelligent flexible branch system acts as a real "fuse": in the event of strong pressure, the branch opens downwards to immediately release your foot. This mechanism prevents your leg and foot from getting trapped, drastically reducing the risk of injury. The opening force is specially calibrated (minimum 40 kg) to ensure both safety and reliability, without unwanted openings during regular use.

Reinstallation is child’s play: simply reposition the safety branch with a quick gesture to confidently get back in the saddle. Proven safety, fully integrated into the stirrup, with no added parts or aesthetic compromise.

Total comfort & protection: shock absorption with every stride

Safe-On Flex-On stirrups are also true partners in comfort for riders, preserving joint health. Thanks to their wide, ergonomic platform mounted on high-performance elastomers, they effectively absorb shock waves generated by the horse’s movement and landing after jumps, thus protecting your knees and ankles—even during intense training sessions or long rides.

The single-branch design in spring steel overmolded with bio-sourced polyamide combines lightness, robustness, and dynamic flexibility: the structure follows the rider’s natural movements for increased stability and security without locking your position.

Secured foot entry and ideal position in the saddle

The wide, low, anti-slip platform is an essential asset for the rider-horse connection. Choose between flat or inclined platforms depending on your physique and discipline. Grip or Ultra Grip inserts ensure exemplary traction, even with wet or muddy boots.

The offset stirrup leather passage, exclusive to Flex-On, promotes an optimized leg alignment and enhanced contact with the saddle, whether you’re jumping, schooling, or riding outdoors. The result: your support is better distributed, your foot stays in position without the risk of slipping.

Customizable design: express your style

Safe-On stirrups are also a true playground for creativity: customize every detail as you wish! Choose from 10 frame colors, pair it with one of 3 footbed colors (black, grey, white), and dress your elastomers and branches in 16 different shades.

Want to go further with customization? Select your footbed tilt, grip level, and create a look that is uniquely you by even changing the magnetic stickers. Each component (branch, stickers, footbed, elastomers) is quickly interchangeable to adapt to your preferences and renew your style throughout the seasons.

If replacement is needed, the safety branch can be swapped out in an instant—a durable and economical asset so you always keep your stirrup looking and performing its best, according to your desires.

Premium materials & durable construction

The Flex-On quality promise is a product built to last:

• Hot-forged frame, treated with anti-oxidation coating to withstand moisture, dust, and everyday impacts.
• Premium materials (bio-sourced polyamide for the stirrup body) blend durability, environmental respect, and exceptional lightness (about 1 kg per pair).
• Spare parts kits (grip footbeds, branches, stickers) ensure longevity and adaptability, with a guarantee that you’ll easily find the part you need.
