In the event of a fall, the Safefit airbag vest by Seaver deploys mechanically and ultra-rapidly before impact, surrounding the vital areas of your body: back, lumbar region, neck, cervical spine, rib cage, pelvis, and sacrum.
Designed for everyday riding, the Safefit airbag vest is lightweight (less than 600 g) and perfectly fitted, offering total freedom of movement. Made from stretch materials, it follows every motion of the rider without discomfort. Its micro-perforated fabric provides excellent ventilation, ensuring optimal comfort in both summer and winter. Once in the saddle, it remains discreet and without bulk.

The Safefit airbag vest operates exclusively with Seaver cartridges (24 g for sizes XXS to XS long / 33 g for sizes S to XXL). Customized models are also available. It can be worn over riding clothes, or under compatible clothing for a more discreet look.
Bonus feature: The Safefit airbag vest can be paired with the Saferide option available on the Seaver app. When activated on your phone, your contacts are alerted in case of a fall and can locate you via GPS to send help. A one-year Saferide subscription is included with every purchase of the Safefit airbag vest. You’ll receive an activation code with your vest to enter directly in the Seaver mobile app.

If your airbag is not the right size or does not fit, you have 15 days in which to return it to us. The cost of returning the airbag is borne by the customer, while the cost of exchanging airbags is borne by Vestride.
Only Spark, Hit-Air, Equiline's Oxair and children's models, Helite's Airjacket and Freejump's X'Air Safe airbags can be worn over clothing. Airbag jackets can be worn over thin clothing (teeshirts, sweaters) or combined with compatible clothing.
To find out which cartridge matches your airbag model and size, refer to the cross-reference table in the detailed description of each cartridge and airbag. This information is also given directly on your airbag or in the instructions for use.
We recommend storing it on a hanger away from moisture. Storing it on a hanger helps protect the membrane by limiting the risk of folding or cracking. Avoid storing it in a ball in your rack, or exposing it to high temperatures (radiators, cars in direct sunlight, etc.).
The saddle strap is fastened to either side of the saddle through the two stirrup leathers. This way, there's a perfect balance of release in the event of a fall, whether to the left or right of the horse. The buckle attaches to the connecting strap, which in turn connects to the airbag.
After deployment, your vest's membrane is inflated and the cartridge is emptied of its CO2. To reset, unscrew the old cartridge, expel all the air from the membrane, connect the trigger ball using the key supplied, then screw in a new cartridge. The exact re-priming procedure differs depending on the airbag model. It is important to follow the instructions given in the user manual supplied with the vest. If necessary, you can always contact us.
Your airbag must be adapted to your body type and size. We advise you to keep a fist's width between your chest and the airbag, to provide the space needed for optimum inflation. When you're riding, it shouldn't get in the way, rising up towards your ears, or even touching the saddle cantle.
The main difference lies in how they are worn: the vest-style airbag is worn like a jacket, close to the body, and requires compatible clothing on top. The classic airbag is worn over any clothing, serving as the outermost layer.
