Aerix Equiline airbag vest: fast and effective protection

When riding, every fraction of a second matters. The Aerix Equiline airbag vest features a mechanically activated cable system capable of inflating in less than 80 milliseconds, or 0.08 seconds. This rapid response allows the protection to deploy quickly in the event of a fall, helping to reduce the consequences of certain impacts and sudden body movements.

Its design is engineered to protect several essential areas of the upper body, including the back, chest and sides. The system also helps limit excessive hyperflexion and hyperextension movements during a fall. Unlike some models featuring rigid back protectors, the Aerix is designed without an integrated back protector, prioritising a flexible, ergonomic structure that naturally follows the rider's movements.

Deployment is activated by a tether connected to the saddle, which the rider attaches to the airbag once mounted on the horse. If the rider becomes separated from the horse, tension on the cable activates the inflation mechanism. After deployment, the vest can be reused by replacing the appropriate CO₂ cartridge, in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.

A removable cover for easier maintenance
