Soft Up Pro Plus safety stirrups - Freejump

Enhance your riding experience by choosing safety combined with cutting-edge technology. The represent the ultimate evolution of modern equestrian equipment. A true global reference of safety stirrups, they provide superior protection against the risk of being caught in the stirrup, while pushing the standards of comfort, shock absorption, and technical precision. Made in France and adopted by the most demanding riders, they embody the perfect balance between innovative safety and athletic performance.

Active and innovative safety: widened flexible outer branch

Where the classic stirrup design is limited when it comes to releasing the foot in the event of a fall, the Soft Up Pro Plus stands out thanks to its flexible outer branch in Elastollan®. This patented technology allows for controlled deformation under lateral pressure, instantly releasing the foot if needed. The combination of safety and flexibility has never reached such a level, significantly reducing the risk of incidents during falls or accidental snags. The foot passes through unhindered, with the certainty of passive safety at all times.

Comfort and shock absorption: a wider, ergonomic tread

Because a high-performance stirrup should be barely noticeable, Freejump has refined every detail to guarantee optimal foot support. The tread is widened by 27% (1.6 cm wider than the original model), ensuring a stable base no matter how intense the movement. The highly resistant tempered spring steel integrated into the mono-branch works with this tread to absorb much of the vibrations and impacts, giving you a smoother ride and reducing joint fatigue (knees, ankles) as well as tension in your horse’s back. The result? Precise foot contact and a remarkable sense of relief during each ride, even the longest or most technical ones.

Super grip and secure hold in all conditions

Perfect stability also relies on proper foot support. The Soft Up Pro Plus offers a ultra-grippy tread reinforced by:

• Carbon fiber inserts to enhance longevity while maintaining exemplary lightness.
• Removable steel spikes to boost the “gripping” effect and provide superior traction in wet, muddy, or dusty conditions.
• The ability to replace these spikes with the Pro kit, extending the life of your stirrups and ensuring optimal grip through every season.

This unique “Super Grip” allows for a stable foot position, limits accidental slips, and gives peace of mind whether jumping or riding outdoors.

Mono-branch technology: lighten the load, boost mobility

Freejump’s signature mono-branch technology is not just an aesthetic choice: it reduces the forces transmitted to each stirrup by a third compared to a traditional double-branch design. The immediate consequence: the rider’s joints are protected, overall riding flexibility is improved, and the horse benefits from a more harmonious impulsion, free from excess strain. This patented innovation injects dynamism, comfort, and uncompromising safety.

Offset center of gravity and angled eye: ultimate ergonomics

With ergonomics in mind, Freejump has optimized the offset center of gravity and a 45° angled stirrup eye. These technical choices allow for:

• A natural lowering of the heels, improving posture and overall leg stability.
• More intuitive and quicker foot placement: the angled eye follows the natural movement of the foot, making it easier to engage or remove the stirrup, whether getting ready to ride or reacting in an emergency.
• A faithful following of leg swing at all gaits, from sitting trot to full gallop and during repeated jumps.

Every detail has been designed to make the use instinctive, ultra-smooth, and suited to all body types, avoiding any sensation of blockage, instability, or inappropriate twisting.
