COMPOSITION

This vest is really easy to put on, thanks to the large openings for the arms. Once closed by the buckles, it is well fitted to the body but remains very breathable thanks to the openings and the ventilated mesh back. The fabric is weather resistant.

COMPLIANCE

The Privilege Equestrian Airbag vest complies with the regulations relating to personal protective equipment (PPE) subject to the French Sports Code. As such, this airbag vest has a CE marking issued by the laboratory ALIENOR CERTIFICATION, in accordance with the European regulation 89/686/CEE. Airbag certified NF S72-800-2021.

COMPATIBLE CLOTHING

Well cut, easy to adjust and close to the body, the Privilege Equitation airbag vest does not move. It can be worn over a summer t-shirt or a winter down jacket. It can also be worn under a competition jacket compatible with airbags, whatever the brand. The latter must contain a minimum of 15% elastane in its composition. Any garment worn over this airbag vest must be compatible. We do not recommend wearing multiple layers of clothing under your airbag vest.

ACCESSORIES

The vest comes with a CO2 gas cartridge, a cocking key, its saddle strap and its connection strap. The gas cartridges must be used with care and stored at a temperature below 40°. It is imperative to buy only approved cartridges of the Helite brand, and to change them after each triggering!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The CO2 cartridge must be screwed firmly and completely into the firing pin. Once in place, do not attempt to unscrew or remove it.

The two ends of the saddle cord must be attached to the knives of your saddle, before your stirrup leathers. Next, the connecting strap should be attached to the saddle cord, via its designated carabiner.

It is the connecting strap, directly connected to the gas cartridge, which will allow the release of the cartridge in case of a fall.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Brush the vest with a slightly dampened stiff bristle brush, then air dry on a hanger.

2 year warranty from date of purchase, does not apply to textile. 2 additional years warranty when the product is registered on helite-service.
